Where I came From
Van Do
  Where I came from,
The land is so harsh and dry.
Silent tears from dark sorrow
Run through the hopeless river.

Where I came from,
A child can't grow into full bloom,
But becomes aged before his time.

The land where I came from,
People are stunned by existence.
How can any life be brought in
And survive the absurdity?

Where I came from,
Love is shunned,
Voice is muffled.
Part of the land is
becoming a barren waste,
And inhumanly cold.
