Paris 1975

Three days before the Fall of Saigon to the communists, Vietnamese students in Paris, France staged a demonstration on 4-25, 1975 at 15:00 through the streets of Paris to:
1. honor South Vietnamese soldiers who fought and died for the Freedom of South Vietnam, which was attacked by the communists,
2. and support the South Vietnamese government.

This is the picture (courtesy of the Vietnamese Student organization in Paris) of students from the Paris and Orsay Antony Universities carrying the South Vietnamese flag and wearing a mourning white headband--Vietnamese way to express a mourning state. The front banner said, "HUGE MOURNING DAY."
