Đảo Pulau Bidong Ngày Nay.....

Editorial Note:
Pulau Bidong--a Malaysian island--which from 1978 to 1991 was full of refugees waiting to be resettled--at one time, it housed 40,000 people--is today a monument to these same refugees, a deserted island with deserted and abandoned buildings. The Catholic church and Buddhist temple, which were filled with parishioners' and children's voices, now lay empty and in ruins. Nature has slowly reclaimed its foothold on the area.
